Terms of use
Please read this first. This website gives general information only. It is not an expert opinion on any matter, and sending an enquiry does not instruct us. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss caused by relying on the website's general information (see Limitation of liability). This does not limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or our liability for gross negligence.
These terms apply to anyone who uses this website. By using it, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

What this website is, and is not
The website describes the services offered by MechTech Dynamics and how to make an enquiry. Its content is general. It is not an expert opinion, a forensic finding or advice about any particular vehicle, incident or legal matter, and it must not be used as evidence. An opinion is given only after an instruction has been accepted and the relevant vehicle, components or documents have been examined.
Enquiries and instructions
Sending an enquiry through the website, by email, by phone or on WhatsApp does not create an instruction, a mandate or any other agreement. An instruction exists only once its scope, fees and terms have been agreed in writing. We may decline any enquiry, for example because of a conflict of interest.
Please don't send confidential documents until an instruction has been agreed, and remember that ordinary email is not a fully secure way to send sensitive information.
Photographs and illustrations
Drawings and photographs on this website illustrate the kind of work we do. They do not show actual matters, clients or vehicles.
Copyright and trade marks
The text, drawings, photographs, design and the MechTech Dynamics name and logo on this website belong to MechTech Dynamics or are used with permission. You may view, download and print pages for your own reference, including to consider instructing us. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.

Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, MechTech Dynamics and Albert van Niekerk are not liable for any loss or damage that arises from using this website, from it being unavailable, or from relying on its general information.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes:
- liability for loss caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct;
- any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other law that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
The terms of an accepted instruction, including any limitation of liability for that work, are set out separately in writing.
